Privacy Policy
Legal / Privacy. Last updated: August 21, 2026
Veribound ("Veribound," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit veribound.com (the "Site"). It applies to the public website experience and related communications. It does not, by itself, describe data handling practices of Veribound product deployments or customer-managed environments, which are governed separately under contracts with our customers. Data handled by the Veribound Agent software is described at https://veribound.com/app-privacy.
1. Information we collect
We collect two categories of information through this Site.
Information you provide
When you submit the contact form, a demo request, a pilot request, or a quote request, you provide your name, work email address, company, job title where asked, and any free-text detail you choose to include. This information is sent to us so we can respond to your request.
When you submit a vulnerability report, you provide a description of the finding and, optionally, your name and email address so we can follow up and credit your work.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use these logs to operate the Site and to detect and prevent abuse.
Google Analytics collects standard web traffic information, including browser type and version, operating system, referring website, pages viewed and approximate time spent on the Site, approximate location at the country or region level derived from your IP address, and general device type.
When you load a page that contains a form, Cloudflare Turnstile collects information about your browser and device (IP address, user agent, screen size, language, time zone, and similar characteristics) to verify that you are a person and not an automated script. See section 3 for details.
We do not use advertising trackers, behavioral profiling networks, or third-party data brokers on this Site.
2. How we use information
We use the information collected through this Site to respond to your requests and schedule conversations, to handle vulnerability reports, to understand which content visitors find useful so we can improve the Site, to diagnose technical issues, and to detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it to build behavioral profiles for advertising, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
3. Cookies and third-party services
Google Analytics
Google Analytics measures and reports on Site traffic in aggregate. Specific cookies typically set: _ga, which distinguishes unique visitors and expires after about 2 years, and _ga_<container-id>, which persists session state for the Google Analytics 4 property and expires after about 2 years. IP anonymization is enabled, so your full IP address is not stored or shared with us.
Your choice controls whether Google Analytics loads at all. Nothing optional runs on this Site until you accept it, and you can change your mind at any time: manage your cookie choices. Declining, or later withdrawing, stops the analytics script loading and deletes the cookies it set.
Independently of the choice above, you can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, blocking third-party cookies in your browser settings, or using a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Every form on this Site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that the visitor submitting the form is a person rather than an automated script. When loaded, Turnstile may collect device and browser characteristics, set short-lived cookies (such as cf_clearance or _cf_bm) used for bot management, and return a verification token that we forward to Cloudflare to confirm. Turnstile is designed to minimize tracking and is not used for advertising. For details, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and the Turnstile privacy documentation.
4. How we share information
We share information only as follows:
- Google. As part of our use of Google Analytics, subject to Google's terms.
- Cloudflare. As part of our use of Cloudflare Turnstile to verify form submissions, subject to Cloudflare's terms.
- Service providers. Third parties we engage to operate this Site, such as hosting and email delivery providers, who are contractually bound to handle information only on our behalf.
- Legal compliance. When required by law, valid legal process, or to protect our legal rights, safety, or property, or those of others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case appropriate confidentiality and continuity protections will apply.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
5. Data retention
We retain form submissions for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request, and for a reasonable period afterward for record keeping and legitimate business purposes. Vulnerability reports are retained for the life of the finding and our records of its resolution. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings in our Analytics account, which we set to the shortest period that still allows useful trend analysis. Cloudflare Turnstile verification tokens are short-lived and processed in real time; Cloudflare retains its own logs according to its privacy policy.
6. Your rights and choices
You can request a copy of the form submissions we hold for your email address, correction of information you believe is inaccurate, deletion of your information subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it, or an end to further communications from us. Form submissions are what this Site collects, so they are what we can retrieve and what these requests cover.
To make any of these requests, use our contact form. If you reside in a jurisdiction that grants you specific privacy rights, such as the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, we will honor those rights consistent with applicable law.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information collected through this Site from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International visitors
This Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using this Site you consent to that transfer.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through this Site or, where appropriate, by email to people who have given us their contact information.
10. Contact us
For questions about this policy or to exercise any of the rights described above, use our contact form.
